Epoxy Resin

Welcome to RawChemicalMart’s Epoxy Resin catalog. We are a trusted supplier of high-quality Bisphenol-A epoxy resins, serving the coating, electronics, and construction industries.

Our primary inventory focuses on general-purpose grades:

  • Liquid Epoxy Resin (E-51 / 128): The standard grade for adhesives, floorings, and potting. Equivalent to NPEL-128, YD-128, and DER-331.
  • Solid Epoxy Resin (E-12): Designed for powder coatings and anti-corrosion paints.

Epoxy Resin Selection Guide

Epoxy Resin is a thermosetting polymer formed from the reaction of Epichlorohydrin and Bisphenol A. It is valued in the chemical industry for its exceptional mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and strong adhesion properties. At RawChemicalMart, we offer grades that serve as direct replacements for major international brands.

Liquid vs. Solid Epoxy: Which do you need?

Epoxy resins are generally classified by their physical state at room temperature and their Epoxide Equivalent Weight (EEW).

1. Liquid Epoxy Resin (LER)

The most widely used type, typically known as "128 Grade" or "E-51".

  • Characteristics: Clear, viscous liquid. High purity and low color (APHA < 50).
  • Common Grades: NPEL-128, CYD-128, E-44, E-51.
  • Applications: Self-leveling epoxy flooring, casting, potting, filament winding, and solvent-free coatings.

2. Solid Epoxy Resin (SER)

These are higher molecular weight resins used primarily in heat-cured applications.

  • Characteristics: Yellowish flakes or granules.
  • Common Grades: E-12 (604), E-20.
  • Applications: Powder coatings, coil coatings, and anti-corrosion primers for steel structures.

Key Industrial Applications

Industry Recommended Type Function
Construction (Flooring) Liquid (128) Provides a seamless, high-gloss, and chemical-resistant surface for warehouses and factories.
Paints & Coatings Solid (E-12) / Liquid Used in marine paints and metal primers to prevent rust and corrosion.
Adhesives Liquid (128) Forms high-strength structural bonds for metal, ceramic, and stone.
Electronics Liquid (Electronic Grade) Encapsulation and potting to protect components from moisture and shock.

Why Source from RCM?

Epoxy resin markets can be volatile. We provide stability and assurance through:

  • Brand Flexibility: We supply widely recognized grades like NPEL-128 (Nan Ya) as well as cost-effective equivalents to match your budget.
  • Quality Control: Strict monitoring of Hydrolyzable Chlorine content and Color (APHA) to ensure high reactivity and clarity.
  • Secure Logistics: Shipped in 220kg steel drums or 1000kg IBC tanks to prevent leakage during transit.
